Erika Ramirez
Soprano
Venezuelan soprano, Erika Ramirez, obtained her degree with honors in “Music Performance” at Universidad de Los Andes (Mérida- Venezuela) as a student of the famous Venezuelan baritone William Alvarado. She also studied in Spain with Montserrat Caballé and with René Morlóck at the Stuttgart Bach Academy, with opera roles as Giannetta in L’elisir d’amore, Gilda in Rigoletto, and Despina in Così fan tutte, and concert experiences with the main orchestras of Venezuela and as a recitalist in Spain, Italy, Panamá, Perú and United States. Erika is a founding member of the GO Divas and on staff at Gulfshore Opera as a member of the costume team. She and her husband live in Naples, FL.
Fernando González
Baritone
Cuban-American baritone Fernando González began his musical career at the age of 15 singing zarzuela in his hometown of Holguin, Cuba. Known as an incredibly versatile vocalist, he has performed operas, zarzuelas, orchestral works, and recitals in Italy, Spain, Mexico, Venezuela, Peru, and the Dominican Republic. His dark, powerful, voice is continually sought after by companies near his current home of Miami, Florida, including Florida Grand Opera, Palm Beach Opera, Gulfshore Opera, Vero Beach Opera, Orchestra Miami, and L’opera and Zarzuela. Fernando is a member of the international pop-opera group The Latin Divos. Formed in 2017, The Latin Divos perform a diverse repertoire of music from pop, opera, and jazz to enthusiastic audiences in the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Interviews and performances with Mr. González have been featured prominently on Spanish television, including Telemundo, Univision, and Fox News. Alfredo Chacon
Percussionist
Alfredo Chacon, percussionist is a Cuban American composer, vibraphone player, and percussionist emerging as one of the most prominent voices of the vibraphone in Latin and Cuban Jazz. He combines ahigh technical level in his instrument with a great musical, and harmonic knowledge. He has recorded two ALBUMS̈ Caliente Corner and MAGIC PLACE, which was nominated for best jazz album at the Cuba disco Awards in 2013.Alfredoearned his bachelor degree at the Superior Institute of Arts in Havana. He has played at the International Jazz Festival in Havana and toured Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, UK, France and other European countries, covering various genres including Jazz, Soul, Funk, Fusion, Folklore, Latin Jazz and much more.
Ciro Benemelis
Cedeno
Cuban Bass Player
Ciro Benemelis Cedeno, Cuban Bass Player, hails from a family of musicians and music entrepreneurs whose ancestors arrived in Cuba from Europe. His grandfather was a renowned Cuban troubadour, and his father distinguished himself as a writer and Cuban music entrepreneur. Ciro began his musical journey by studying classical double bass and later ventured into Cuban popular music. Throughout his career, he has held significant roles, serving as the musical director for Cuban pop artist Dayani Lozano. Furthermore, he has showcased his versatility as a bassist, collaborating with renowned artists such as Álvaro Torres, Maricela, The Latin Divos, Amaury Gutiérrez, Braulio, and Pancho Cespedes. As a composer, he has contributed to the music of both Dayani Lozano and the Brother’s Son project. Ciro has extensively traveled on major tours worldwide, participating in concerts before massive audiences. His achievements include serving as the vice president of a company dedicated to protecting the copyright of Christian musicians in Cuba. His outstanding work has been featured in articles on various digital platforms and newspapers, solidifying his position as an influential figure in the music scene.
Daniel Escudero
Pianist
Daniel Escudero, pianist is originally from Havana, Cuba, but has been living in Miami, Florida since 2003. He started studying music and piano at the age of 7 in his native country. He now holds a Bachelor’s of Music in Piano Performance and a Master’s Degree in International Business, both from Florida International University. Daniel has spent the last 12 years performing and touring, playing different styles of music in a variety of settings both locally and internationally. Daniel has had the opportunity to perform around countries such as the U.S., Spain, Italy, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Chile, El Salvador, and Ecuador with a variety of artists including Grammy Award winners.
