Set in early 1950s Fellini’s Italy, where people dress well, argue loudly, and treat an inheritance like a matter of life and death, this one-act comic opera features a cast of 15 highly acclaimed singing actors as the scheming relatives, accompanied by a chamber orchestra.
In Act II, the evening shifts from the stage to The Wake, where the Italian family is now in a room with drinks, food, more music, and you, still scheming to get your share of the inheritance. English surtitles provided.
