Rebecca Krynski Cox

Soprano

Hailed by The New York Times as a “vibrant soprano…with a secure, appealing sound and eye-opening volume,” Rebecca Krynski Cox is thrilled to join Gulfshore Opera for the Voice of Shakespeare concert series. The 2025-26 season also includes Leonora (Il trovatore) with North Carolina Opera, and Countess Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro) with Indianapolis Opera. Last season, she appeared as Mimì (La bohème) with Knoxville Opera, and Verdi’s Requiem with the Key Chorale in Sarasota, FL. Other recent credits include Mimì (La Bohème) at Florida Grand Opera, Leonore (Fidelio) Opera Company of Middlebury, Donna Anna (Don Giovanni) Charleston Opera Theater; Mother (Amahl) Dayton Opera; As a Fest and Guest Artist at the Luzerner Theater in Switzerland, she sang Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Elisabetta (Maria Stuarda), Alice Ford (Falstaff), & Tatyana (Eugene Onegin).

Brianna Murray

Soprano

Brianna Murray is praised for having “one of those soprano voices, clear, perfectly-placed, angelic, that could go on all day and I would still want more” (Herald Times).   Brianna spent the past 2 years as a studio artist with Madison Opera, where she performed the role of Jeanette in L’amant Anonyme and covered both Cunegonde in Candide and Zerlina in Don Giovanni.  Other recent highlights include Adina in L’elisir d’amore, Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro, Frasquita in Carmen, and Clorinda in La Cenerentola, and Papagena in Die Zauberflöte.  Equally comfortable on the musical theater stage, Brianna performed the role of Anne Egerman in Sondheim’s A Little Night Music at the Quisisana Resort.  In addition to performing, Brianna is a teaching artist with the Lyric Opera of Chicago. 

Grace Mineo

Soprano

Grace Mineo, a soprano from Long Island, NY, is currently in her senior year at the Frost School of Music. Originally rooted in musical theatre, she transitioned to classical voice during her collegiate studies, and since then has cultivated a passion for operatic performance. Grace has performed with the Frost Opera Theater, most recently appearing as Mrs. Davis in Street Scene by Kurt Weill and Vera Boronel in Gian Carlo Menotti’s The Consul.

Edward Brennan

Tenor

Hailed as a “powerhouse” by The Post and Courier, American tenor Edward Brennan is recognized for his “fierce” interpretations and rich, “baritonal” vocal quality.  Since his professional debut with Utah Festival Opera in 2017, Edward has performed with companies such as Opera MODO (Detroit), Cedar Rapids Opera Theater, and Charleston Opera Theater. He has been a finalist in prestigious competitions nationwide, including the Michael Ballam International Opera Competition and the Nicholas Loren Vocal Competition.

In 2019, he joined the Institute for Young Dramatic Voices, a renowned training program dedicated to cultivating dramatic voices worldwide. There, he studied under internationally acclaimed mezzo-soprano Dolora Zajick and worked with music staff from Deutsche Oper Berlin and La Scala.

Kenneth Stavert

Baritone

Kenneth Stavert, GO favorite Baritone, was last seen at Gulfshore Opera as Pong in Turandot, April 2024. Praised for his strong “sense of theatricality,” baritone. He is a regular performer on stages throughout the U.S., Europe, and Asia. He is passionate about the drama of his productions and has been hailed as “the real thing, a classic Verdi baritone with

resonance”.

Kenneth’s 2024-25 season includes a debut with Indianapolis Opera as Riff (West Side Story), ​a debut with Union Avenue Opera, and a return to Vero Beach Opera as Silvio (Pagliacci). In 2023-24, he returned to Vero Beach Opera as Masetto in Mozart’s Don Giovanni. He performed the title role in Sweeney Todd with HALO Opera, as well as returning to Pacific Opera Project to sing Sharpless in  Puccini’s Madama Butterfly. Other notable role highlights for Stavert include Marcello in La bohème (Dayton Opera, Gulfshore Opera, Pacific Opera Project), Scarpia in Tosca (Opera in the Heights), Ponchel in Silent Night (Opera San José), and Harlekin in Ariadne auf Naxos (Palm Beach Opera).

Gregory Buchalter

Collaborative Pianist

Gregory Buchalter, a collaborative pianist, currently serves as music director and conductor of both Varna International and Vero Beach Opera. He has received rave reviews for his frequent appearances at the Florida Grand Opera, where he has recently conducted A Streetcar Named Desire, Tosca, and Pagliacci. He regularly performs with the South Florida Symphony and has recently appeared with the Vienna Summer Music Festival and Opera Orlando. 

Internationally, Maestro Buchalter made his debut with the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra with the Mozart Requiem earlier this year and has conducted Salome at the Savonlinna Opera Festival, Die Fledermaus at the Vienna Volksoper, Mozart’s Entführung aus dem Serail at the Spoleto Festival, Così fan Tutte with the Mediterranean Opera Festival in Italy, and Eugene Onegin with the New Opera World Festival in Moscow. Buchalter was a cover conductor and the maestro di banda at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City.

Juan Baquero

Collaborative Pianist

Juan B collaborative pianist from Bogotá, Colombia, has a strong background in choral and vocal accompaniment. He recently graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Florida Gulf Coast University. Juan is a member of the GO Emerging Artists Program, preparing for graduate studies in Collaborative Piano with a focus on opera and vocal repertoire.
