Allison Fahey recently completed her Master of Musical Arts at Yale School of Music. This season, Ms. Fahey performed the role of Mother Goose and covered Baba the Turk in Stravinsky’s The Rake’s Progress as a Resident Artist at the Lakes Area Music Festival. She performed Baba the Turk and La Ciesca in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi with Yale Opera. Last summer, she was an Apprentice Artist at Des Moines Metro Opera, covering Clarice in Prokofiev’s The Love for Three Oranges. At Yale Opera, Ms. Fahey has performed the title role in Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia and Bradamante in Handel’s Alcina. In addition to operatic works, she also has performed as the Alto Soloist in Handel’s Messiah with the Waterbury Symphony and as a soloist for Beethoven’s Ninth with the Yale Symphony Orchestra. Allison holds a Master of Music from the Yale School of Music and a Bachelor of Music from Stetson University.
