Nicole Woodward

Soprano

Soprano Nicole Woodward has been hailed by the San Francisco Chronicle for her “rich” and “coruscating” voice. She has apprenticed with several prestigious young artist programs, including the Merola Opera Program, Central City Opera, and Sarasota Opera. Recent roles of note include Tosca (St. Pete Opera), Wellgunde (American Wagner Project), and Zweite Dame (Sarasota Opera). Nicole most recently appeared as Blanche DuBois in Andre Previn’s A Streetcar Named Desire (Florida State University, visiting guest artist). In addition to her work on the opera stage, Nicole has appeared in concert with the San Antonio Symphony, Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, Houston Symphony Chorus, Tallahassee Music Guild, and the North State Symphony. Nicole has received awards and commendations from the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, AIMS Meistersinger Competition, Cooper-Bing Competition, Florida Federation of Music Clubs, National Federation of Music Clubs, Classical Singer Competition, NATS, Sarasota Opera, and the Wagner Society of Washington DC.
